repair in houston-brakes; radio screen messed up in cold

Where's a good place to get your brakes looked at without paying an arm and a leg. Has anybody's radio screen looked messed up when it is cold outside. Thanks for your help.

The radio/LCD displays can act slow or funny in the cold. (It's in the manual.)

radio screen messed up in cold

I noticed that below 15F, my LCD screen is very slow to change display (Track Number, Time Elapsed, etc...). If this is the distortion you are seeing, it is normal. It is common for the liquid crystal in some displays to become more viscous as temperatures drop - this causes delays in the activation and deactivation of specific cells in the display.
