Rotors
I have read on this forum about the windshield distortion. Many had it replaced under warranty. Audi is certainly aware of it. Have yours replaced.
My rotors ('01 2.7T) give the impression of being warped, BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. Something else is obviously going on. The brakes work great, and it doesn't bother me enough to ask the dealer to work on it. Some rotors have developed high rust spots from being stored, and owners have had those corrected either by replacing the rotors, or burning them off in high speed brake applications, and/or driving in reverse and applying them with vigor. Mention this, as you might want to give it a try before resorting to replacement.
now im at 25000 miles and they are warped again...the dealer ordered new ones for me but i havent had the chance to get them installed.
btw...all this was done under warranty.

Without a doubt the 2.7t with the HP2 calipers (2000 and 2001 model years) are notorious for warped rotors. The rotors get too hot. This could be your problem, however it usually only shows up on cars that have heavy, sustained brake usage, like at a track event.
The other possibility is that you are too gentle on them. Large diameter rotors, like the ones on your car, need to be used. Deposits can accumulate on the rotors and or pads.
My suggestion is to go out and do a few 60 to 0 stops using threshold braking. Keep doing it until you can feel the brakes starting to fade. This should "clean" up the rotors and pads. If they still vibrate after that, the rotors are warped.
I had this problem at about 5K miles. I did my first track event and it "cleaned" them up and they worked great. During my second track event I got them too hot and warped my rotors and chunked my pads.
I've solved this problem, hopefully, by going to 2-piece Coleman rotors. They have much better cooling capabilities and can handle the heat much better.

My first few hundred miles, I found the pedal to be very spongy. I suspect that I have adjusted to the pedal feel.
If you can live with the windshield ripples, do so. History suggests that the fix may be worse than the problem.
