Need to vent my anger - somebody hit my baby!

I know you guys will understand. Somebody hit the rear bumper of my 2.7T. I always make such an effort to park as far away from other cars as possible. I figure the walking is good for me. And of course I have no idea as to who did this. The paint is scratched off in about a 1 1/2" x 12" section, and below this the paint is all cracked. I'm thinking of installing a spy camera in my car to catch and punish people who have absolutely no respect for other people's stuff. Ugh! I'm so pissed!!!

Sorry to hear. Yes, very upsetting, but a good body shop should make things good as new.

At least I hope so, as I will shortly begin a search for one for my fender.

If you were in a parking lot of a shopping center check with security, they might have cameras installed that caught it. If you have the approximate time they might let you review the tapes, but call soon, they usually only keep them for a day or two and then tape over them again.

Thanks for the sympathy, and Quebec as for the '02 bumper..

I really like the way they look with the tail pipes coming thru and all, but the car is leased and I don't want to modify anything I can't easily change back.
