No Audi sport springs for my A6 4.2?
I provided my VIN no. and spring color codes from my 4.2 in order to upgrade to the sport suspension. Barry at Clare Parts did some research and concluded that Audi had no sport springs for a 2000 model year with my options. Looks like I'm forced into after market springs that will lower the car at least 1 inch. Anyone have any other takes on this issue?

I don't get it either, but Barry said that various options add weight. For example, a full sized spare. My car has all the options. I find it hard to believe that the suspension is so finely tuned that a few pounds makes a difference. He did say that there were 4 or 5 sport spring options and none matched my VIN and spring combo. He did go on to say that this is perhaps why the Germans lost the war!
