Hey Finman, any plans for clear corners on that S6? Would make the front look REALLY clean...
It would look even better in "real life", but I suck at photo editing.

Seriously, it looks good...but I actually think the clear corners look better on your car than the red Avant...I'll look at your photoshop image a few hundred more times, then decide...don't like to make rash decisions...thanks for the photoshop effort
my name is Mario and I visit this Forum from Germany. So, my english isn't very good(*g*), so I hope you understand, haha!
My 98er A6 2.4 and every A6 in Germany lock'ed like the second red S6. All corner's are with white flashers and orange lamp-heads.
In Germany, there isn't a big A6-community from the new modell,so it's easy to make a eyecatcher, and so I want to create one!
Big Tyres and very deep wheel-suspension is the plan. Also another small things, for example US- headlamps with the orange-shining corners. In Germany it's seldom, so I'd like to have it.
And you in the USA has this part ans want to have the clear one.
Do you have some parts to sell?? What does it cost and how is the shipping? I haven't sell some parts fom USA...
Bye Bye from Germany
Mario
We only have them in the U.S. because it's REQUIRED by law to have this amber "reflector" visible from the profile of all cars sold here - A North American phenomenon...
If you ever study vehicles sold in the U.S. (regardless of national origin) they ALL have some sort of reflector/light for the front and rear of the passenger and driver side. Either built into the headlamp, bumper or side panel of the car itself. For example: Infinity/Lexus has them in the bumpers while Honda/BMW have it as part of the light. A perfect example of this U.S. idiosyncrasy is the 2001/2002 VW line - In the U.S. VW's have these amber lenses molded into the front bumper and red on the rear. In Germany the VW bumpers are "clean" with no light/lens modification in them at all - Same cars, different bumpers...
It doesn't bother me too much with the Audi since the amber reflectors are within the headlamp/tail lamp housing itself - I think it would've looked hideous if they were molded into the bumper... 8-)

Hi, allroadguy
thanks for your remark...
yes, it's very ironic!
in germany this U.S.-Look with the Lights in the Side of the bumper is "in"! Every guy, who has a tuned car, "must" have some side-lights...
Hella sells them, for example, but the Hella-Lights are very unlovely. And if you want to make a clean car, it's crasy if you install some into the side of the bumper. So I don't understand the germans, haha....and it's not to my taste.
The A6- headlamp with the integrated (is this a right vocabulary??) "direction indicator" in clean white color is in germany a usual part. Every A6 has it! So, if you want to have a remarkable car, you must change some parts. So it's suggesting, because it looks differently with the amber reflectors . Also the U.S.headlamp is a original audi-part and our TÜV can't see anything wrong with it, if I build in these parts.
Unfortunately I only can buy this headlams by a audi-dealer, because they are rare and nobody sales some second-hand-parts in germany...
New parts are also expensive.....
Bye Mario
