Unpostable!!!!!!!!!!!
A Merc technician actually told my wife to go with higher pressure in front on her C230 because that old recirc ball steering is so crappy, and it seemed to help.
Maybe they know something we don't? Glad the spin out did not do any harm. Take care.

P.S. had the same experience with the turbo beetle. Pressures set to 24lbs and 21lbs (F/R)during service. I noticed visually before confirming with the gauge. Weird.
And FWIW, you always need to check the oil level after a change. Again with my wife's Merc, we took it to an indy shop and damned if they didn't overfill by a half-quart or so. I checked it a coupla times over a coupla days just so I was sure, and because I thought they might try to BS me when I brought it back, but sure enough the guy pulled the dipstick and said "Yup it's overfilled, let's put it up on the lift."
I have over 30K miles on the car at this point. Hope this answers your question. These are not super high pressures. I have seen people here running 42-44lbs depending on their regular load weight etc . . .
