My useless $.02, since it's a slow day: the warning buzzer volume appears to have decreased on 02's
Today, I heard the warning buzzer for low fuel for the first time in the 02 4.2. Normally, I try to fill up before that damn buzzer goes off, because the volume level in both the 98 2.8 (before we sold it) and the 01 2.7 would absolutely startle me to death every time it went off. I even warned my wife about it before she started driving the 2.7 on a daily basis. And I know I'm not the only one on this board that feels the warning buzzer is way, way too loud and obnoxious, since it's been posted about several times over the last year or so.
Anyway, today it went off in the 4.2, and it was just a beep, not a BEEEEEPPPP. I didn't even flinch the steering wheel when it went off.
