And now for something completely different - hairy tires
I figured they would last about one trip around the block. The photo above shows the left rear tire after more than 100 miles! While the fronts have lost about 1/3 of their "hair", the back tires have almost all of their's still seemingly untouched.
Maybe they sweep the snow out of the way? I selected the Q's for performance on ice and they haven't disappointed me. There was a lot of black ice today and I hardly noticed it. I almost fell over when I got out of the car at work, but the car had only a slight amount of anti-lock once or twice on the drive in.
Wonder how much longer before they go bald?

I did my first investment in tyres (tires?) today, actually, in purpose of quiet driving and safety in one neat package..--> Q's were the Answer this time, not a Question! B4 my winter "wheels" have been studded versions and NOISY at the same time.
Feeling about those, well, good in general. Pretty much similar as stated in rewievs posted by several auto magazines from Sweden and Finland. Touch in twists'n'turns of the curb, not like old studded tyres (felt like a bat without ears in dark) in earlier vehicles I've owned. Good ones, though. Rewievs I mean <smiles>
Wish You all safe miles at the top of those Q's,
Sincerely
Pete
