please help a future A6 owner out...
My wife and I are expecting a baby in April and we've decided to trade in her VW Beetle for an A6 Avant 3.0 tip. I have one question though, what are your experiences with pricing...how much should I be able to save via haggling. I know you could get A4's (my car) for quite a bit lower then sticker, but A6 Avants are hard to come by thus giving me less leverage? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
if you look at the range between invoice and sticker price, I got mine at less than halfway
between, about 40% above invoice...hope this helps
go in prepared with all your numbers and supporting documentation, they are good people, you're not buying a relatively low end car with
little room for profit, also I hear there is a bonus they get from audi for each car, I forget what they call this right now...
good luck, it's a great car....

The bonus program comes from being one of the top 3 dealers in a zone ( consists of 1 state or half of large state ) when measured by JD Power surveys. There is a minimum, and if the dealers do not reach it, no money is handed out, and it does not roll over to next quarter. This is done quarterly.
It boils down to this - if you find the dealer(s) who where top ranked in the previous quarter, and you actively assist them in getting good scores from all their clients in the next quarter, you might consider asking for a cut of the pie.
