Good service from our local dealership....more and long
The service included break fluid change, oil etc etc.
In addition: new radio, passenger side dash vent (rattles), rear hatch inside latch replacement (the kids always kick into it so it brakes), alignment check (rear driverside toe adjustment), windshieldwashernozzleadjustment (no more fun spraying unsuspecting pedestrians....and just broke the record for the longest word on the forum).
On the record now: Camshaftseals begin to leak now, will replace before car goes out of warranty.
Dealer gives no more loaners after several "customers" wrecked Allroads after taking them offroad, ruined paintjobs and other kind of scary stories, so I got an Enterprise rental (T&C minivan), free of charge, the rental was available after checking the car in, no waiting time at all!
All work was done on time, car washed (not scratched), even engine bay was cleaned, nice!
All in all very good experience with phonecalls to my office to keep me informed on what has been done and timing the pickup.
One disturbing matter, though, during chatting with the sales guys and checking out all the new cars (droooool over S8's, S6's etc) I was told that Audi policy is not to tell customers about problems the mechanics find on our cars -like the seal-, they just traded a 2 year old A6 with damages/repairs exceeding $5000 (brakes, seals, radio etc.), the original owner either didn't complain enough or was simply ignored or ignorant? See earlier post abt. known issues with our cars.
I guess I am lucky to have a good relationship with the mechanic and the sales guys who are honest to me!
Oh, almost forgot. Charge exactly "0"
that's strange... my dealer usually tells me what's up...
getting pretty good service at McKenna in Norwalk.

And what's this about Audi "POLICY" to have the mechanics not to tell us about problems they discover with our EXPENSIVE cars. Do they want liability lawsuits if someone get hurt in an accident? Please tell me that your just sh#@ing us.
Bob Lutz said recently that quality diffs between makes was no longer an issue, and frankly I was impressed with the way the T&C was bolted together and drove. It's so nice to drive something with torque, I inadvertently burned rubber a few times!
Coupla weeks ago, Enterprise gave me a 4dr Focus and that was a fine little ride too.
