S6 slow at around 200km/h! (acceleration wise)
My S6 (2000) has a huge power drop at ca. 5000 rpm! I think, this is where the cams adjust. What can be done about it. It really sucks on the Autobahn, because this is at the speeds the powerful diesels are cruising.
On the dyno, the drop is very visable. Max power is at 7490 rpm (348 DIN PS)and torque is only 401 NM (should have 420) at 3650 rpm. It pulls really well again after 5000 rpm till 7500.
It is my long distance car. On the Nürburgring the Mitsu Evo 6 comes out to eat up TT's and Porsches. (beautiful power curve here!)
