My whine at WOT above ~4K RPM is still being trouble shot. Last attempt was a multi-function switch (shift lever to tranny talk), which must not be it, since I've heard nothing. I'll get an update in a few hours. I understand changing cheap parts first, although that switch is ~$5-600, but I think it's time to either change everything or consider the other alternative. It seems AoA tech is slowly changing parts, while I've lost use of the car.
Opinions/advise?

I don't think this will get to the point of qualify under CO Lemon Law. Law says 4 or more visits with a total out-of-service of 30 days (cumulitive). I don't think I'd even pursue that. I'm pretty easy going, and hate to get forceful, but AoA tech seems to be dragging this out, when they should be a little more aggressive.

Default What have the techs determined so far?

Could it be a hole in the throttle body or intake manifold? Or maybe a loose hose/connector/vaccumm hose along the intake air tube assembly.

Just some thoughts. The techs probably chekeced all that however.

Default I think a fair thing to do is for Audi to pick up the one month payment you would make on your car

Since you 've lost the 15 days of use of a normal operating car. They have done this on other occasions. I am old and the memory is shot but I think Chris JB received one month payment or had that payment made by Audi.

Default Sounds like you need some kind of leverage...

Spell it out for them. Have a sit-down with the service manger, GM and the local AoA rep and tell them what you expect. Tell them you are disappointed in the progress so far. Go in with some kind of plan and ask them if it is reasonable. If not, ask them what they think a reasonable approach is. If you don't agree, let them know. At least you'll find out where you stand. Maybe if they see that you are upset (but reasonable), they will try to move things along quicker.

If you've already done this then you need to think about the alternatives. To me that would be investigating the Lemon Law course further. Maybe you don't want to go there but you have to decide what your breaking point is.

The only other tactic I can think of is to call once or twice a day and have them update you on the progress. Ask what has been done today. Ask what the next step is and when will they do it. If you are nearby, stop in frequently and ask them to thier face to make it a little more personal.

Default Do you mean a hole in the throttle body boot?

The turbos, TBB, BPVs, have been changed. Pressure/leakage test were performed on entire system. They've (under AoA tech guidance) checked dang near everything and are currently looking at the transmission, which was the lead dealer techs first thought.
