Figure more than $28K next May....
Audi leased a passel of 2000 cars for around 57% residual value and based on a reasonable 48K for a non-sport 4.2 they should be coming off the leases then.
On the other hand, if the market value is less than that, they'll go for less.
KBB lists the car now around $42K, which IMHO is damned good, considering we leased ours at around $47K capitalized cost.
OTOH, Edmunds lists it for a LOT less:
Dealer Trade-In: What Others Are Getting $29,020
Private Party: What Others Are Getting/Paying $31,602
Dealer Retail: What Others Are Paying $33,986
FWIW, I've yet to see one on the used car market in the Washington Post. I've only casually looked, but there it is....or isn't.

Fin's has been abused (extended high-speed runs) whereas I'm sure Mr. Gotts has been very "reserved" in his vehicle (yeah right.)
Seriously, IMO, if you were going to buy a used Audi these two would be at the top of the list regarding taking car of their 4.2's. They both probably pat it on the dashboard before they go to bed.
