Default sorry but I don't use MS IE browser which the site requires

I use opera browser which is easier to use and has built-in pop-up windows blocker. in addition to many other nice features IE don't have.<ul><li><a href="http://www.opera.com">http://www.opera.com</a</li></ul>

Default I don't like Opera, always had problems with it when I ran it about 3 years ago.

IE is just flawless on my computers now, no reason for me to run anything else : )

Default Opera 6.05 is very stable and I love the pop-up...

killer feature. I can turn it on and off by clicking on F12. This is how web surfing should be.

I can enable/disable cookies, java.. in one second. It takes me 3 minutes and sometimes restarting IE to do so.

plus I can load multiple websites in a single window and jump from one to another by one mouse click.

other features you may like: built-in google, ebay, amazon, lycos.... searches. If you want you can double click on a word anywhere on the page and select dictionary, encyclopedia, search, translate.....plus tons of other stuff.

after I tried it I felt like I was in the dark world of IE.

anyway that's MHO

Default IE is bizarre-o...you can get a glitch that cannot be repaired without...

completely re-formatting your HD and re-installing a new, fresh, clean install of Windows.

It is bizarre, but both my brother and I have different glitches that cannot be repaired...even with much help from Microsoft (Sunday is a good time to call...instant help). My problem is with one particular group of websites that run INCREDIBLY slow to non-functional when I use IE, but are lightning fast with AOL. Previously, they were fine on both browsers. My brother's problem is that his really doesn't work at all and he cannot download from MS website without IE to try to fix it. Un-installing and/or deleting IE and re-installing does no good. The MS service guy gave some ideas but so far I don't know if it can be fixed. He admitted others have had glitches like this that are unrepairable without a clean install after formatting the drive.

Default Yeah, come to think of it I can't download anything from an FTP site from my one computer anymore...

this of course happened after I uninstalled a FTP client which had of course put some dumbass plugin on IE.

With windows 98SE, Java stopped working for no reason. No way to fix it. Ended up formating and installing XP, no problems until now.

There is a price to be paid for easy to use UIs IMO : )

Default I guess you're the expert in that. LOL

for those who don't know me I work in the computer field. Actually I design computer chips. So, being an engineer myself, I appreciate well engineered products (such as Audi cars).

IE is a piece of junk. Opera browser is well thought product in every aspect.

BTW, if you need any help such as building your own computer, setting up wireless network, installing software...etc. let me know.

Default Hehe, thanks for the offer, but I'm in a related field : )

Computer Networking, and I've long been a total PC nut. Build my own computers, networks, wiring, etc. etc.

If you ever have any networking questions let me know? : ) I work for Marconi.
