What do you think of the new Trailblazer, shoping for my wife's new car/suv

She is really indecided, she hesitate beteween the new A4 or the Trailblazer. She had four Blazer before and love SUV, she feel more secure. She was suppose to test drive the new A4 but yesterday, I've received, at work a letter for GM Canada offering me a good discount (depend on the model) on all the GM linup except Saturn (I don't really care) It's a special offer to some good supplier and the offer end september 30 2002. So we got to hurry up. It's leaning toward a red Trailblazer LTZ '03.

I wouldn't put my wife in it. But then she will drive my K1500 pkup when she is getting mulch.
IMO the safety of visibility and bulk is an illusion since what you see MAYBE you can avoid. Basically if she drives very defensively and drives it like the truck it really is then she'll be fine. Having worked as a GM parts supplier I know that quality is not high on their list and my Chevy has proven that out. (disclaimer: your mileage may vary)

Not trying to flame you...but you asked "what do you think"...and I think Chevy sucks...every one of their products stinks...yeah, the Corvette is fast, but it is a fast pile of sh*t...yeah, the Suburban is big, but it is a big pile of sh*t...etc, etc, etc.
I assume in your sig, you mean 2000 Black Chevy Blazer, not "Trailblazer"...it is true that the new Trailblazer is a lot better than that abomination, the Blazer...but still it is a big POS...no offense. Poor quality, poor durability...rattles, shakes, squeaks, pieces falling off...garbage on 4 wheels...American automakers should be indicted for fraud based on the crap they've put out. It used to be that they sort of acknowledged that they suck compared to foreign auto makes...but now they claim "Quality is Job 1", etc...they lie, they suck...American cars suck...I'd rather have a Hyundai or Kia.

A Honda Pilot is at least a respectable, well made vehicle...that gets the best MPG of any...
mid-size SUV...it is boring as hell...but a good utilitarian vehicle.
That said, how can she give up a fine ride like an S4 for the land-yacht ride of a Pilot?

Needs more space for the kiddo and her budding new business.
Don't get me wrong, she absolutely adores her S4. But the space issue is becoming more and more of a factor now that the baby is getting bigger and we hope to have another on the way soon.
