This is getting silly: the 'freshened' 2003 S600 sports all the new toys, plus 500hp, twin turbo V12, 0-100 kph in 4.8 seconds, 4-motion (?), C$170,000.

...when pricing in Canadian pesos, because of market factors. Proportionally, automakers sell about twice as many minivans and subcompacts, but less than half as many luxury vehicles and large SUVs as in the US.
Although in the low-volume (they expect to sell 50 of the S600 in Canada) luxury segment, it's usually pretty close. For example my 'full list' last year on the S6 Avant works out to about US$57k.
