I'm just kidding - don't mind at all sharing what little I know...I happen to know quite a bit about the differences now because I compared the 02's and 03's closely when buying one for my wife.

 

1. Tiptronic shift buttons on the steering wheel discontinued (except S6).
2. Heated outboard rear seat positions discontinued.
3. Front passenger's memory seat discontinued.
4. Partial leather upholstery with leatherette surrounds standard on all but S6 and RS6.
5. Full leather upholstery still standard on S6 and RS6; optional at no charge on 4.2 and extra cost on 3.0 and 2.7T.
6. Vanilla/royal blue interior discontinued.
7. Vanilla/ebony interior limited to 2.7T and 4.2.
8. Pearl white pearlescent exterior discontinued.
9. Alpaka beige metallic, crystal blue metallic and amulet red exteriors limited to 2.7T and 4.2.
10. Sunroof and Bose stereo standard only on S6 and RS6.
11a. Sport suspension and 17 X 7.5 inch wheels and 235/45R17 performance summer tires standard on 2.7T.
11b. Same size performance all season tires available as a no cost option on 2.7T.
12a. Space save spare tire with steel wheel standard on 2.7T.
12b. Full size spare tire with (steel or matching alloy) wheel discontinued on 2.7T.
13. 17 X 7.5 inch wheels and 235/45R17 performance all season tires optional on 3.0 (Quattro only).
14. New cold weather package includes six stage heated front seats and ski bag.
15. Parktronic a stand alone option on all models.
16a. Premium package now includes on all models: sunroof, xenon low beam/high beam headlights, Bose (4.2), driver's three position memory seat and exterior rearview mirrors (standard on 4.2), auto dimming and folding exterior rearview mirrors, auto dimming interior rearview mirror with built in compass.
16b. Bose stereo still a stand alone option on 3.0 and 2.7T.

 

my kids absolutely love them. They wanted me to get my '02 4.2 just because of the heated rear seats.

'02 could be that special "keeper" year for A6s...

 

I'd like to add a couple of lines :
1.) corretion to the 14.: cold weather package includes ski bag and heated rear seats. (heated front is standard.(?))
2.) motion sensor discontinued (at least in 3.0)

 

are not available on 03's as far as I can tell from the brochure.
