Oil leak and new cam seals/gaskets

Can't believe I only have 33K on my 2001 A6 2.7T and it already had a major oil leak.

Dealer diagnosed the problem as leaking CAM seals and gaskets, so both were replaced under warranty. Anyone experience the same problem? Is there any special break-in period with new seals/gaskets? I.e., do I need to drive easy for a while?

Wondering if this is a common and reoccurring problem on 2.7Ts.

I had both cam covers and valve covers. It is not the CAM SEAL. There is no such thing. It is

the CAM COVER is an additional smaller valve cover type area. If the cam cover seals are bad - I would expect the valve covers to be next. Watch that dipstick

Thanks 2.7Tdallas. The service manager termed it that way. The parts used were:

GasketSet, Clip, Gasket, Cover, and Grommet. So I guess it was the cam covers and valve covers. The question I have -- is there a break-in period I should follow after the repair? Or new seals don't require a break-in since no internal mechanical parts were replaced.
