"What did Audi do during the War, Daddy?" It seems they made these...

The NSU half-track motorcycle produced at the Neckarsulm factory later destroyed by Allied forces, to be rebuilt post-war. NSU was one of the four automobile manufacturing companies--the four rings--which were combined to yield Audi. (No doubt, any number of other Wehrmacht vehicles were produced at other Audi sites, including Ingolstadt.)
AW MotherSite's "Big Story" this week chronicles the history of the Neckarsulm factory.
