Navigation Plus for USA??

When will Audi start importing cars with the navigation screen.

Probably never...

they actually were saying somehting about it for the a4 cabrio but I doubt it will ever happen. In the meanwhile you can get it from Avalon but there pretty pricey and downright rude.

Regular nav works pretty good. Short on bling factor though;-)

The 2003 A8 has an updated "Nav Plus". It's DVD-based and a nice looking 7" screen.

No word if the color screen will come to the U.S. in the new A8. Eventually Audi will have the color screen in the U.S. Audi is well aware they are the ONLY car mfg in the segments is sells to that does not have a color screen nav system.

This was a while ago now. They wanted something sexier. The impression was he wanted a system that rises from the dash like the Inifinti system. Perhaps the new one in the A8 fits the bill.

I met Zev@Avalon this last weekend, it's a good system & I'll say he's not as abrasive in person

I remember the lengthy roughhew between you and Zev and all the rest of us chiming in (of course the whole thread's gone now, but for the record IMHO you were right); but it is a fully functioning and cleanly integrated Euro nav system with N.A. maps.
