Autoweek article on Volvo S60R - they state it could go 0-60 in less than 5 sec - yeah, right

I think it's called 'Elfin Magic'...
I chipped my Volvo V70R to 285hp and it's lucky to go 0-60 in 6 seconds and change! VERY lucky! Now the S60R with 300hp will be able to do it in less than 5?? As I said before - um, no.

If you read the article carefully you will find out why it won't
when C&D tested the 400hp S-type R; they blame the gear ratio for shifting sometimes even before the engine reaches the horsepower peak and were told by Jag that the problem will improve.
Because, the other heavier less horsepower supercharged Jag and achieve 0-60mph under 5.3 consistantly; i have reason to believe the potential of the type R reaching 60 mph under 5 if the transmission is reprogrammed
