and it's in one of the TV trades .....
BMW has made a deal with DirecTV for its own channel, called (wait for it) the BMW Films Channel. To run during primetime weekend hours, with a half-hour loop of 3 new BMW films in the series "The Hire" plus behind the scenes footage.

if you have a TiVo
The "press thumbs up" would appear every time a BMW ad was on. If you pressed the thumbs up it would tape the entire BMW films series next time it was on. At least it worked this way on DirecTV.
