Default New 2.7T

I finally placed the order and am picking up my Ming Blue/Platinum 203 A6 2.7T over the weekend. I got a great deal with most of the sensible options. One problem. The car comes with the 5 spoke 17" wheels. I think they are ugly. How tough is it to get some of the "tuning fork" wheels aftermarket? The dealer said that he did not have any available or he would have simply switched out the wheels with ones on another car. Any thoughts and prices?

Default I like your taste...

I'm supposed to pick up the identical car this friday! I personally like the 5-spoke...easier to clean, too.

Default I'd tell them to order you a set and switch them when they come in. IMHO the

BBS's are better looking and worth more. The brochure I have say's 03 2.7t comes stock with those. Maybe that's a westcoast thing; but, I thought I saw it on the AOA website as well. I'd stick to my guns so to speak. Dought if they want to be real hard nosed over a set of exchanged rims. Good luck and enjoy your car. You'll love it, I know I am

Default I like your taste too but...

This is a buyers market and Audi is hurting so 3% over invoice is high IMO. I live in Austin. I got my 03 2.7T on 3/31 @ 1.5% over invoice including tints and I think I could have got a few hundred dollars less than that.

I got my trade up from their initial offer of $2000 to $2800. The going rate on kbb.com is $2100 for trade so I don't feel so bad.

I bet someone is now going to post that they did even better than me.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/threads/91655.phtml#244811">Tough Times for Audi</a></li></ul>

I got $600 over invoice, then a $2,000 Audi loyalty discount. I guess about $1,400 under.

I can't wait.

Default Re: New 2.7T

The BBS wheels are pretty expensive to buy aftermarket... something like $350/each for the 17" ones. But they are strong, light, and also better looking IMO.

If you really want the dealer to help you out, call them and gently tell them you won't take delivery on the car until it's resolved. Once you take delivery, your leverage is gone. But be reasonable, of course... If they won't bite on that, use their refusal as leverage to work a deal on an extended warrantee or audi merchandise or something else you could use.

I was one of the few who got a full-size spare with my 2001 2.7T sport package because I was a pest after the sale. It would have been so much easier if I had done it before taking delivery.

Default They actually cost $475 at the dealer. The Audi parts department is the only place

I've found to get that particular size. BBS rc 17x7.5.
