Sorry - had to vent... the shop called to tell me that they broke the rear glass re-installing it.. "might" be ready later Friday...

note to self - park in the FAR corner of all parking lots...

Default it involves a story of BAD neglegence from a "tuner" in SoCal...

my car is currently being fixed @ hartmann right from shoddy installation, and even worse customer service elsewhere...the kind of customer service that takes parts from your car without telling you (ko3's, forge valves), the kind of customer service that leaves your car outside for 1.5 months out in the elements (dirt, bird sh*t etc), the kind of customer service that wipes your old software off the ecu when you gave them written instructions to install the new software on the space ECU I supplied, the type of customer service that when you make note of VERY low brake pads and telling them not to use them under heavy conditions because youll damage the rotor, but instead they continue to use them and fry your $500.00 Stoptech rotors...the kind of customer service that makes you wonder who else has been driving your car when you go to pick it up, and you see your own car coming down the opposite side of the street with a COMPLETE stranger driving it w/o my permission...the kind of customer service that snoops through your car to look for "stuff"...

theres more, ill add to the list at another time :-\

the part that pisses me off the most...

the kind of customer service who doesnt have the courtesy to wash your car after you spent close to 3 grand on a st.3 install...let alone fill the empty gas tank, which was brought in on full..

ugghhh...nightmare is all i can say

Default oops forgot to mention a few other things...

refusal to return phone calls for over 2 weeks when Im wondering where my car is, and why its not finished...
a st.3 install takes 2 weeks at the most, why did it take 4...

and without answers, i proceeded to AW to ask the people, on a public forum...why they thought it was taking so long...and I was openly flamed by not only the owner, but his gang of goons who still support them for some reason...

I also got the first phone call from the owner, the one in charge of my installation, when I posted about how this was lawsuit material and how he would immediately stop work on my car and have it towed for "trespassing" if i didnt delete it.

sheesh...whats goin on there?

Default Sorry to hear that, I hope everything gets straightened out...

quickly. Let me know when you are going to be down in NYC as I have some things I'd like to talk to you about as well as knock back a couple of cold ones with you. Thanx for sending the plate bracket. I received it the other day.

Default Glad it finally got there - sorry for the delay, been traveling a ton....

I'm in the city the 23rd & 24th - not sure how full my days will be but should have a few windows to perhaps grab a beer.... and I'd love to hear your exhaust !

I'll drop you an email end of next week when I'm further along in my planning....

Take care -

Don't worry man, I think most people know what's up. You're going to come out ahead in this scandal IMO.

Here's to the new ride : )
