Default APR: Anyone have any idea if they will ever update our software?

It seems like APR has little interest in supporting their existing A6 customers. They are still on a very old version of the software for customers with 2000 and 2001 2.7s. Sure, we have a 100 octane program, as if that is something most of us would make good use out of...

I am really beginning to regret going with APR. Does anyone have any information on this subject?

Default with the 100 octane, and actually running 100 octane....

you can really pick up some ponies. Normal chips just run at their max timing advance because of the better gas, no detonation so those of us with stock ecu's dont get much of a gain, our cars just run as they were meant to.

But I get your point. It's not like the super gas is available at Mobile, etc.

Exactly - A 93 Octane program would probably be more useful for most people

Default I email them occasionally to pester them about the 93 octane program..

they say we are working on it..yaddda yaddda yaddda.. my last email went un answered.

a while ago i thought i read a post from someone else on this board who called APR to ask them about the 93 octane program and the APR representative told them that someone at APR purchased a 2000 or 01 A6 2.7T and was going to adapt/rework the S4 93 octane software to be applicable to the A6 ecu and that it was going to be a relatively easy task and the upgrade will be made available... anyone remember this?

Default WAKE UP, APR !!!

I am happy with the car and also with the chip but I totally agree with the posts on this subject. Driving an A6 2.7TT with a 91 octane program, why did they even bother starting out with a 91 octane program? Perhaps there are certain areas in the USA where this is the highest available but nowadays, and correct me if I am wrong, 93 is available almost everywhere. I am very interested in a 93 program, WAKE up APR!!

I believe there's nothing but 91 here in Cali, though one can get race gas a few spots.

We have 93, but no 91, except Sunoco, who used to have 94, but now that's gone
