Codes for Climate Control Computer
I read this tech note <a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int5.shtml"><b>Accessing On-Board Diagnostic codes</b></a> and decided to test it out on my 03 A6.
It seems like the codes have changed. I have codes in the range from 00 to 89. I tried code 28 (engine RPM) but it didn't seem to be showing the RPM.
Now some codes show results as straight numbers and others show with numbers and the degrees lit so they must be temperate readings.
In the interests of finding out more about our cars, does anyone have the list of what these latest codes mean? I know it has to be different because the two graphics channels (52 & 53) cannot use the 7 segment LEDs.

The initial link in the tech section is old....
...and covers the old climate controls used upto 1997. The tech article should at least state what car it was tested on, so people wouldn't think it apply to all cars.
I have most the codes for Audi's thru 2002. I don't have them all but I do have most. In 2003 Audi changed them again. Here's some of the codes thru 2002:
0 System errors
1 Desired value of the blower (volt)
2 Actual value of the blower (volt)
3 desired air flow value defrost flap
4 scaled desired air flow value defrost flap
5 scaled actual air flow value of defrost flap
6 desired air flow value foot/main branch flap
7 scaled desired air flow value foot/main branch flap
8 scaled actual air flow value of foot/main branch flap
9 Desired air flow value of recirculation flap
10 Scaled air flow desired value recirculation flap
11 Scaled actual air flow value of recirculation flap
12 Desired temperature flap left
13 Scaled desired temperature flap left
14 Scaled actual temperature flap left
15 Desired temperature flap right
16 Scaled desired temperature flap right
17 Scaled actual of temperature flap right

I know the 2003's don't have channel 0. So I would imagine that channel 0 is now 1. How it changes after that I have no idea!?
