I'm about to "take the plunge" and trade in my 2000 2.7t for a 2003 2.7t.

I've owned my 2000 for 7 months, (after leasing a 99.5 A6 2.8) purchased Audi Certified w/44K on it, and havent been happy after: turbo replacement, SAI problems, MAF problems, things that techs that can't figure out...etc within the last 9K miles.

I worked out a deal for the new car: tip, premium, Bose, cold weather, for $41,150, MSRP $44,985.
Includes the 17" BBS...but am asking for the all season tires w/ 5 spoke because I'm going to keep my Avus S4 set up.

Questions:
1. What has your experience been w/the 2003 2.7t so far?
2. Any comments on the pricing?

FWIW, invoice on the car you describe is $40,747 (including destination).

Assuming you're not having to fork over any rebates (there aren't currently any that I'm aware of), your deal seems very good to me.

I had a 2000 2.7t from new for 30+ months and have 2003...

I had a few problems with the 2000 and did a deal with AOA to get the new 03. The 2000 was a great car but the differences between it and the 03 are so much that apart from the same body shape you would swear it is a new model. I had the Avus wheels on my 2000, but got the BBS wheels with the 03 and changed to 18 inch RS4 replicas. I would recommend the 18 inch wheels they suit the car much better.

If the deal works for you go ahead, you will not regret it, I have 5000 incident free miles on the 03.

I have to agree. I did a post a about a week ago on a compare and contrast

but I can only say that I have had ZERO problems, and have only had to have the shifter adjusted in 7k miles.

I think that about 3-5% off sticker is average, and with the economy the way it is, you shoudl work at invoice and go up. Audi sales are really hurting
