Touch-up paint Questions
Novice touch-up artist here, so a few questions?
I bought some paint, clearcoat and rubbing compound from PaintScratch.
There are two chips around the grille that I'd like to touch up, each maybe 1/2 a cm.
There is no rust.
Do I need to use a primer before applying the paint, or is there enough primer left at the chip site for the paint?
Also, any idea what kind of masking tape I can use around the chips that is car-paint safe, and where I can pick some up (I live in Dallas)?

I've used the Paint Scratch pens with excellent results. The directions at http://www.paintscratch.com are really good.
Also, do not be afraid to wet sand as the final step. It will give you a crystal smooth finish.
