A6 Quattro Faulty Fuel Gauge After 2nd Recall

We have had the sending units on our A6 Quatto replaced several times. The fuel gauge still does not work even after the 2nd recall. Is anyone else having the same problem? Please tell me I am not the only one. Thanks,

I've had 4 A6's and all with the same problem. Sometimes it sticks, sometimes not. Why waste time?
