Default Need some help - rear suspension question.

Ok, on my "16 - connecting link" I have a plastic piece connected to the link through a metal mounting. It appears to be held on by tension about half way down. It is actually broken in half and not present at all on the rear passenger side of the car (only driver side rear). There is another mount point (the other broken half) attached to another pivot point which is hard to identify. I didn't have the diagram next to me when starring at the suspension.

I have no idea what it is or why it is there and can't find it in any documentation.

My thoughts: Is it possibly something they used to help with the suspension install? Maybe they just left it on there by accident and now it is broken from driving?

It does not appear to have any impact on the suspension itself.

TIA for any help!

Yeah, but the swaybar looks good - at least to me. Links look fine.

Default It sounds like the HID Level meter....

There is two, one on each, left front and left rear.It is used to level the lights with changing load, not part of the suspension.

Default Cool - thanks a lot man - that must be it. My lights seem ok though...

although they were super high when I picked the car up and I had to adjust them manually.

Thanks again,

Default #16 is the sway bar link, it's plastic, sort of a clear/white color...

...the HID level motor plastic arms are small, and are black.

If either is broken, you should replace.

Yeah, definitely not the swaybar link. I'm thinking it has to be the level motor - thanks!

Probably just some trash you picked up on your travels across the median.
