Very sad time of the year...not only taxes...but Superfast Silver has been sold :(
The good news is that I still have 13 days to enjoy the sweetness of the 4.2...in addition to that it has found an excellent home in the northwest...
(don't ask about particulars (ie. $) since this is someone elses private business also...but suffice to say it was fair to both parties)
My second deal of the weekend...was not so fair...heavily in favor of the feds!
Such depression it has wrought has caused me to pass on my annual ritual of filing at 11:59 pm on April 15 along with the hundreds of other idiots who wait until the last minute...I just dumped them all in the mailbox unceremoniously...yesterday

I wish...will be too poor for the next year or two...
My current thinking is either:
1. GTI
2. A4 1.8T (with Loyalty program, it should be fairly cheap...just a little more than the GTI)
Then in about 18 months...when things ease up a bit, a Porsche 911 C4...
Of course, this is all subject to change in the next 15 minutes or so...

Selling a car is usually a good thing.
It means new paint in the garage soon.
Look at the bright side, you won't have to deal with the sig deletions anymore.

I will suck it up and live with the Outback until the end of June...
then it gets sold at CarMax on the way to the airport to leave California...the final car decision will be made on the plane...and the car will be purchased upon landing on the east coast...
Ok, maybe the decision will be made a little earlier than that...but I want the car ready upon landing...for us to go pick it up that day...
The list is long...but I think the final decision will be made by "feel" at the time...whatever feels right...I'm so variable, I have no idea what I'll get...maybe a CTS!

I guess I shoulda put the pie-plates on there...it woulda' sold sooner!
The one good thing about this is that now the S6 can look cool again with the RS 6 wheels...it needs 19s...the 17-inch 4.2 5-spokers look ok on it...but too tiny...
