Default Verging on OT: laptop Vag-Com users note DC adapters on sale at CompUSA

CompUSA has the Targus PA360U and PA380U universal Auto/Air adapters on sale for $50 after rebates.

These are great for powering your Vag-Com laptop, whether for data-logging or just for codes checking. Especially good if you're like me and using an old machine whose batteries are basically toast!

Default Guys, I have used these for a while now, but found this...

to be the holy grail for travelers. Its a power brick much smaller than the one that came with my Vaio 505. But most importanly, it handles both dc and ac power. And it comes with all the adapters you could ever need: car, plane, household. Best part is you can combine multiple attachemts at the charge end and charge multiple devices at once. So now you just need an adapter for your Ipaq, another for your phone, and one for your computer and you only need to travel with one charger for all those devices.

It really is fantastic.

Have fun.

Call up Targus, they'll give you one free tip (such as for cell phone).

Default Re: Adapters

I just saw a universal adapter which is built into a computer carrying case. Price is from $100 to $125. Look at APC's web site: www.apcc.com FWIW. Bill
