1998 A6 2.8 front bumper replacement question
I already contacted Rector-Audi in the bay area, they haven't contacted me back yet (email or whatnot). Livermoore Audi is nearby too, but I hear Rector has better service. (I live in the central valley).
My question is, will they most likely fix it under recall or because the curent and pending litigation? If not, about how much will it cost to get fixed? How long does it usually take? If it will take too long, could they just temporarily re-attach the bumper somehow and re-aim the headlights 'till parts come in?
Thanks everyone.

I am going to be stuck fixing it myself.
I guess AoA is only wanting to pay for dammage inccured to the bumper, and not things that get damaged because of the bumper being pulled off?
In my case, I belive the fenders got bent as well; the drivers side being much more noticeable than the passangers. Hopefully, AoA and/or the tech at the service center will cover this all under the current litigation and/or recall. Also, I belive that it also knocked my headlights out of alignment.
When the tech asked me how big the gap was between the fender and the bumper (where they join) I said a finger gap...and he said he's seen 'em much worse. So, in some ways, I feel that it's not really all that bad, but than again, I'm worried not everything (like the fenders and possibly the lights) will be under that recall/litigation.
