Sorry no answer....but: I was able to look closely at an M5 trunk-edge spoiler this weekend.
It's very subtle and nice looking. I'd probably break the non-mod rule for it...if I weren't driving a Station Wagon. ;-)

just place it in line with the top of your brake lights. if you dont have correct double sided tape(scotch),bmw sells perfect fit for 10 bucks.

when I hear "Station Wagon" I think of the Griswold's car from Vacation:
