Car is in!! Saturday Delivery!! Questions...
After what seems like ages, my custom-ordered car is finally here (silver, vanilla/ebony, Lux & Premium packages, Bose, Sport Seats and rear bags). What are my remote programming options? I'd like to have the dealer set this up to my liking when I take delivery.
PS - I am within 100 miles of my 2000 2.7T lease mileage allowance. How's that for timing?!

Unfortunately, I can't answer your questions - Sorry (there are people on this board who will know how the programming works) ...and I have a couple questions for you.
1. Did you lease through AFS? And if so, have they conducted a thorough inspection of the vehicle? Any additional charges/penalties?
2. How long did you wait for custom ordered Audi? Just curious as I waited over 4 months in 2001 for my custom A6 4.2.

I programmed mine to lock doors on takeoff and close windows etc when holding down the keyfob. The only trouble is the car reverts to stock every once in a while, my dealer does not know why but as I have the VAG-COM I just re-program when it happens.

I just had mine recoded..
You can have the doors lock at 8mph, the windows can be made to go down upon unlocking when you hold the unlock button, and the reverse. When you lock the car if you hold the lock button it will close all windows and sunroof. This is done by adding 96 to the value of the existing code on the vag com.

Ordered the car in mid-late March. Leased through AFS. Inspection was done a few weeks ago. No charges (which I was a little surprised and happy about).
