Brooks Motors in Oakland...second fix in two months. Job was done <i>perfectly</i>, as before. As well, the car was washed, vacuumed...even the dash and instrument panel were nicely dusted, but of course the most important part is that the repair and paint to the scratched fender is 100% indistinguishable from the rest of the car. Sweet. After putting 'round in the old BMW for a few days it was a real treat to get back into the quiet and powerful Audi.

Shots were from their dark shop, so they're not as crisp as usual...(ISO 1000 setting on camera...still cleaner than film of that speed...)

This guy is apparently a regular customer (lives in the hills and has tea with deer on a regular basis). They're waiting on Audi for a $12 part...they guy told them to order a half dozen and keep them on hand for him.

Don't put that on my car! Civic body panel...while mostly Audi, Porsche, BMW, Merc work, they'll help all comers...I think.

Dan (the shop owner) replaced his S8 with this...he wanted more room for the dogs, etc. and had completely forgotten about the S6. He says the Audi Avant has more stowage space than H2.

Where's the before pictures?

 

It's on top right below the grill (sorry no picture) - It's not that noticable so I'm trying to decide what to do about it. Any advice for a bumper cover scratch?

there sure is a lot of difference in the quality of the pictures I've seen here. I'm shooting with a Nikon F 100 and have only started having things scanned. Lots to learn. But my slides and prints are much better than anything scanned and posted except in B&amp;W.

 

I'm just used to Canon and have used their film cameras too. I have lenses from them (biggest reason) and like their lenses - a lot. I will be shooting with - ahem, cough - a Canon 10D beginning tomorrow and the D60 will go to a new home. Basically the same camera with a few more doo-dads...
