Why does my 04/02 4.2 build have the aluminum suspension of an S6 contrary to data posted here?

Trying to entice someone to dig into the ETKA is all. hehehe.

My '01 4.2 had aluminum suspension parts too (I don't know if the '00's had it).
The control arms and such may be aluminum, but it is <i>not</i> the S6 suspension. Perhaps the easiest proof would be for you to take a spin in the S6...vastly different...not only the suspension but the steering feel too. Combined with different gear ratios and the extra power, it is quite a different ride from what my 4.2 delivered.
I don't know if my car had a problem, but I always felt that the 4.2 was floaty feeling in corners. Not rolling, but yawing (and I did have the sport suspension). That's all gone in the S6. Too bad the S6 isn't as pretty as the 4.2 sedan......
