Has anyone encountered a loud popping from their Bose sound system when turning the radio on and off
Might this be a loose ground. I searched the Audi Forum, but this is an A6 specific problem and it really has me baffled. I do not know where to begin looking for a ground. I will try to tunr the volume down for the time being. Oh, yes. Also, when I turn the volume **** quickly it makes tiny popping sounds. These are not normal and never happened before. What might be the story with my new electrical gremilin troubling my Bose and, in turn, my ear.

The Bose stereo in my old 100CS used to do that when it was cold outside. I think it's more of a Blaupunkt issue than a Bose issue.
I never solved the problem, because I decided to total the car instead.
