2000 A6 4.2 NOT Covered by LQ Recall?

2000 A6 4.2 NOT Covered by LQ Recall?
Nearly tore my bumper off on a curb the other day. If it weren't for this forum and the shocked look of horror on a bystanders face I would have destroyed it. Instead it's just awfully funny looking....
Anyway, my Audi dealer just told me that my car isn't covered by the recall. I'm surprised to hear that not all vehicles from an affected model year aren't covered. Anybody got a good idea of how I can get this covered/fixed?
