I've contemplated saving a little more and getting HID's, or maybe the eibach pro kit w/ dampers, new exhaust, the M5 spoiler, chrome tips. I haven't done anything to my car yet except tint the windows and debadge so there should be plenty of options out there.

Default Its Tinted already? Get Hella Smoke Tail Lights $249.00 from AWE Tuning.

You are not going to get Eibach Pro Kit for $500 and even if you did, install is like a grand with alignment.

Default Looked at your pic post, you already have them? Other inexpensive upgrades...

Manual Sun Shade (even with tint, its great!) $125

A6 all wather rubber matts all four are like $100 (I think? got a full set from my girl for B-Day)

Audi's Chrome tips for a curled exhaust look like crap, $99 better spent elsewhere.

Allroad aluminum door trim ($475-$750 depending) on Black, might look cool.

Otherwise, save it, somthing will come along.

Default Yep!

A professionally instructed school would cost about that much or more and it's well worth it. If he uses his own car he needs to factor in the cost of tires plus travel costs if the track is not close to home.

I did a weekend track session recently for $250. I got an instructor to ride along although it wasn't considered a track school. I figure it cost me about $200 in tire wear but I definitely had $450 worth of fun.

A good track event's worth far more than any mod you'll buy for the same money.

Default I agree completely. Most cars are already faster and handle better

than their driver's potential ;-) School is much better than an open track day too - you want instruction, not just zipping around making the same mistakes over and over ;-)
