Battery Question
Need some help please. This morning for the first time my car had difficulty starting. After several attempts it turned over. Similar problems leaving work this afternoon. 2001 A6 is 2.5 years old so seems odd the battery would need to be replaced. Could the battery fluid level be the problem? I tried to look at fluid level, but unless I am missing something it was impossible to gauge due to the batteries position. Any insight would be appreciated/

It is hard to see level, or at least it is on ours. It is likely the electrolyte is low. Get in there with a flashlight, and have some distilled water on hand. And wear safety glasses.
If you have to, pull the battery out to check it and refill. This can make a huge difference.
We're still on the OEM battery on the A6, but it was always garaged until last December.
