Anyone have coilovers on their 2000 (non-sport) 2.7T? Am told the....

ride is less harsh than new shocks and springs and that the car is only lowered 1/2". Worth the added expense? TIA

I have H&R Coilovers on my 2000 2.7T. I like them. Definitely worth the money IMO especially if you are going for the lowered look. The ride does suffer a bit from stock (stiffer) but you gotta expect that out of a sporty suspension.<ul><li><a href="http://www.cardomain.com/id/saidude2">Check it out...</a></li></ul>

H&R coilovers and Koni 's on a 2000 2.7T

Makes all the difference...certainly worthy of the expense...

Well worth it. I've had 2 previous Audi's w/ H&R Springs + Bilstiens (88 5KCSTQ and a 96 A6) - looked good but ride is a little harsh. I now have H&R Coilovers on a 2000 a6 2.7T and love them! lowered just right, firmed up the car, but not as harsh. When you consider springs, shoxs, and installation costs, it not that much different in the long run.
