Default 2000 A6 4.2 with 50K miles... is it a good deal?

I have a local dealer offring 2000 A6 4.2 with 50K miles on it (wiht most of options installed) for $30K. It is Audi assured car.

I like the price but not sure about 50K miles. I plan to keep it for at least 5 years. what do you guys think...? is this a good buy?

It costs dealers $1600 to Audi Assure.

I just bought a 2000 a6 4.2 sport with nav for $27... with 48K on it. warranty gold extended warranty $2000. $30 doesn't sound far off it is assured and is a sport (the sport is that much better, and rarer) Just my thoughts.

This week I got a 2001 4.2 with sport, no nav and 26k miles. Audi assured and certified for 37k.

Mine has 28K and will be turning it in when my new car gets here. I beleive you can do much better (under 30K miles) for an Audi Assured 4.2.
My buy back in 29K, so with that milage...it s/b more like $25K.

Default There's better. Go for something with 30k +/- for maybe a little less $$$

a $50,000 sticker with a residual of 55% would be $27,500. Even a $52,500 sticker is under $29,000 @ 55%. I think those figures are fairly generous in this market.

I paid 26k for my 4.2 with 59,000 miles on it. Not Audi assured.
