The AC "air raid" siren that i have grown to love has been replaced by a...
very different high pitched whine. The season started off with the endearing traditional summer air-raids, but yesterday there were no air raids...only this new "mystery fan" sound. It doesn't really sound like bearing failure or anything, but rather sounds like a completely different fan. Its possible that it has been there all along, but has been masked by the air raids. I've never looked for the infamous rubber-seal caught in the fan...I just thought things were normal to this point on my 2001 2.7t. Thoughts?
