Chips for 2003 2.7t - Who has them- what are my options?
happy. i chipped cars before and my impression with the mtm is: smooth and strong.
no discernable peakiness in torque curve. rev limiter either moved up or plain removed (too scared to push it much past 7k).
loses some steam near the top end, but that's a normal torque curve, and keep in mind that i'm otherwise 100% stock. bigger pipes would help there i'm sure.
i redline first VERY quickly (I have the 6spd).
have had it in for a few weeks now and no complaints here. if you've never chipped a turbo car, you're in for a pleasant surprise. oct has pretty good rep too. if anything, oc.t might be a little more conservative, which is good or bad depending on your priorities.
now if only the suspension was better damped. car feels like a boat, even with our "sport" suspension.

The O.CT stages are done to provide smooth operation, low operating temps (I've logged 'em) and excellent performance (see other posts on this).
A lot of emphsis is placed on smoothness, flat torque curve, and the ability to run wide open for long stretches (autobahn...). Markus (Oberscheider) once told me that he designs his solutions to be run wide open for 25000 miles straight with the car being fueled from a helicopter!!
They have done their homework, and it shows!
