Automatic Dipping Rear view mirror
Does anyone know if it is possible to retro fit an automatic dipping rear view mirror to a british registered A6, I have looked for a wiring connector in the roof lining but to no avail.

I did this work about three weeks, ago, here's how.
I wired an OEM auto-dimming compass mirror into
my '00 A6 Avant, which has no original factory wiring to support such a mirror. As long as you have the Homelink visor in your car, it's not a terribly difficult undertaking. Go to this link:
