Info on 1995-1998 A6 wagon for newbie

Hello: I'm looking to replace my Subaru with an Audi wagon. A larger car and AWD appeals to me. This would be my secondary car. I'm looking in the range of 1995-1998. I need information on what to look for when buying one.. what to avoid, what frequently goes wrong. Do well maintained A6's perform well over 100,000 miles. Many of the cars in my price range have 80-90K miles on them. Should I avoid such high milage cars? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

You're in the wrong forum.

The A6 wagon was on the C4 platform in those years. The sedan changed to the C5 in '98, wagon in '99.

Go to the Audi 100/A6 ('91-'97) forum and ask again.
