Rim refinishing services- any thoughts to share?
All of the scrapes are minor but are through the matte finish and obvious under close inspection.
I visited my dealer last week and the service manager suggested that he could have an "outside service" visit to repair my rims. The cost was about $120 per rim and the repair was a one day deal with the work being done by a mobile "repair professional" (according to the service manager).
Has anyone had rim scrapes repaired by a similar service? Any thoughts to contribute?
An auto detailing friend also mentioned a local auto shop that sells and repairs rims. He said the repair and refinish rims all the time but that it often takes several days (hassle).

Ye Olde has done Porsche, BMW (Bend My Wheels), and Audi wheels. I have never had a problem with the wheels after their work.
For reference, my wife bent a 16" forged alloy on her 944 Turbo- Ye Olde straightened and refinished for $125.
I badly bent a 16x9 Fuchs forged alloy from the rear of my old 930 Turbo when a tire blew on the track at Summit Point. They had to weld new material onto the rim, machine it, straighten and refinish it- $175. And you couldn't tell it from the original.
Don't shy away from "good" refinishers. Ask to see their work and then decide.
Any reason not to take the wheel off the car while doing the repairs? Having a full sized spare would make this a pretty painless process with no downtime. Unless, of course, I had a flat while one of the wheels was sitting in my basement.
Regarding "off the car", that's what I would do, too, were I facing this. Masking the entire car off didn't seem easy, and overspray clay is no fun.
