Default Ok I'm new to this 2.7A6 I Want to see if anyone has this problem
When shifting from reverse to drive, there is a three-sec. wait before it goes into drive . Is this a bug or is it normal

3-sec. delay is not normal.

Default Unless it's a stick and he shifts REALLY slow.

my 2003 3.0 a6 avant with a tiptronic is a little slow going into reverse,,,not sure if its 3 sec. maybe it is,,yes i guess thats about right . wonder why ???

...just think three seconds...

onethousandandone, onethousandandtwo, onethousandandthree......

Yes, there is a delay but not three seconds.

I have like a 1/2 to 1 second delay, I think it is built in. 3 seconds is potentially unsafe.

Are you sure it's really 3 full secs? My '00 and '03 hesitate, but not 3 secs.
