What should I expect to pay for a new leftover 02 A6 4.2? Seems I should get below invoice.

I am surprised there are still 02s left.
I bought my 2001 2.7t 6 speed at March 1 2002 and received $7500 off MSRP of $45500 and paid less than $42,000 out of the door and mine was the more popular silver color. I had three 2001 2.7 but only 1 4.2 to choose from. From my understanding the discount on the 4.2 isn't as much but pretty close because that was the only one left and in some dark blue color. Dealer only want to give me 6.5k off so I didn;t bother to bargain so don't know how far I could have gone with that.

Sticker was $46,700 and I paid $37,500. The car was new and only had 20 miles on it.
i think the combo of red plus 6 speed made it hard to sell.

With Loyalty program you should get $2000 more off
but tell you the truth, it's already May and June is coming up fast; don't know why the dealership is so stubborn to let it go for a loss(the dealership might have missed the promotion period where they get huge amount of incentives from Audi. So now they are stuck with it.
The extended warranty is interesting though, does that include maintainance?
